The IDRI Crucible team provided training and mentoring to the Oil Installation Guards (OIG) that support the Sharara oil field operations.
The training and mentoring will focus on defensive security and safety with the following objectives:
- Safeguarding of human rights
- Compliance with HSE requirements
- Operational effectiveness
- Professionalism and deportment
- Vigilance and the protection of personnel and property
- Entry control point procedures
- Evacuation procedures
- Weapons safety and handling
- First aid
